SEC Reporting Accountant (Direct Hire)

Location: St. Louis, MO

Hybrid Schedule: Work from home Mondays and Fridays; in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

$80,000-110,000 based on experience


Are you a CPA looking to transition from a Public Accounting Firm environment to an internal corporate team? Ultimate Staffing is partnering with our client in St. Louis to hire a talented professional for a Direct Hire role.


Preferred Profile

  • 2-5 years of experience in public accounting, preferably Big 4
  • Experience preparing 10-K and 10-Q filings for large public companies

Responsibilities

  • Lead preparation of external SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 11-K), including supporting documentation and drafting financial disclosures
  • Assist with monthly internal reporting packages
  • Support XBRL tagging for SEC filings
  • Complete periodic government survey forms
  • Execute and maintain SOX controls and documentation
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors, preparing schedules and supporting materials
  • Assist with earnings releases, investor presentations, and financing documents
  • Participate in special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's preferred)
  • 2-3 years with Big 4 firm (SEC clients) or private industry SEC experience
  • CPA certification preferred
  • Strong GAAP knowledge
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
